Jessika Zender
Hi! I’m Jessika, the owner and baker behind Gorjess Bakery. My mom, nana, and grammy taught me culinary skills and hospitality from a young age, which sparked my love for baking and sharing meaningful moments through food. I started decorating cakes in middle school and quickly realized how much I loved reaching people through something as personal (and delicious) as baked goods.
After earning my Associate’s in Baking & Pastry Arts from Montgomery County Community College, I spent several years working as a decorator while studying business and growing Gorjess Bakery on the side. Today, I’m proud to offer custom and gourmet cakes made with quality, organic ingredients—including gluten-free options for all flavors and new vegan chocolate and vanilla cake options, so more people can celebrate deliciously.
